Track description

Diversity has many facets, from gender and LHTBQTI+ to ethnic background, and from able-bodiedness to neurodiversity. A healthy society requires diversity and inclusiveness in all layers and areas of ICT. The diversity track at ICT.Open is dedicated to highlighting the importance of having diversity in and across all dimensions of ICT. This applies to both the people who study and research in ICT related areas, and to the artifacts created in ICT. These artifacts could for instance, exhibit biases or lack of accessibility. The diversity track will consist of invited talks highlighting achievements, opportunities, and ongoing challenges to foster better equity and diversity in ICT. The poster session will display national and local efforts  to promote diversity in our field. We encourage submissions that showcase the value and impact of diversity in ICT. What we are looking for:

- Innovative approaches to incorporate or implement diversity in ICT.
- Research or case studies on the impact of diversity in tech environments.
- Initiatives or projects that promote or implement inclusivity in ICT education, research, or industry.
