In this workshop we will give you more insight about research funding via NWO, in particular with regards to the possibilities as an early-career researcher. NWO selects and funds research proposals based on recommendations from expert scientists and other experts in the Netherlands and abroad. But how does this funding process exactly work? In this session, NWO will discuss the procedure of a standard grant application to show you how the assessment takes place. NWO will also give an overview of funding opportunities available to researchers that are at the beginning of their career, such as the NWO Talent programme in particular.
