Track description
In recent years, and especially since the public availability of large language models last year, AI has been in the spotlight. There are ideas and concepts aplenty, but making AI a part of our daily lives and processes requires more than this, namely implementations, validations thereof, and awareness of the consequences and implications of its usage. For this track, we invite contributions on applications of AI that investigate its usage in real-world use cases. Specifically, we aim at research that has been performed and validated in a relevant environment along with its societal implications. As AI is a Key Enabling Technology, we are open to cases across all sectors and domains, from health to industry and from energy to safety.
We welcome submissions for oral presentations and posters of AI-based technology. We are particularly interested in validation of the AI system, which involves the human factor during the development process of the AI technology and evaluation of the AI-based technology. Moreover, reflections on, and generalized technical guidelines for responsible and ethical application of AI with an application in real-world settings are highly valued.
Example topics are (not limited to):
Explainable AI
Trustworthy AI
Empathic AI
AutoML
Multi-modal learning
Data quality
Active learning
Reinforcement learning
Knowledge representation
Digital Twins
